(UNS K93600) Invar 36FM (Free Machining) is a 36% nickel-iron alloy that has a rate of thermal expansion of approximately one-tenth of carbon steel up to about 400ºF. Used in applications where dimensional changes due to thermal expansion need to kept to a minimum
