Forging Conversion
Viking provides forging material conversion services. Send us your material and we can forge it into bar, rings, sleeves, step shafts, plate, blocks, disks, upset head, hubs or spindles and heat treat it to whatever condition your application requires. We have done hundreds of material conversions for our customers on all grades of materials like carbon, alloy, high temperature alloy, maraging, stainless steel, nickel, copper, titanium and tungsten. Our hammersmiths have smith forged small experimental ingots into forged bar for metallurgical research and development to industrial material conversions from a few pounds to several thousand pounds for steel service centers.
